Here is the history of EB2 Priority dates for India. Looks like EB2 was always current before 2005. The year I decided to file my GC, EB2 set its ride on a roller coaster.
BTW my PD is Apr 26 2006. Can't wait for the Sep 2010 Bulletin. Even though the PD is current many members have not got their GC. GOD knows on what basis USCIS processes the applications.
Reason that EB2 was always current before 2005 was because labor was taking minimum of 2yrs to clear compared to PERM which took only 3 months.
